Job description
About Nucs AI
Nucs AI is revolutionizing cancer care through cutting-edge AI and medical imaging technology. Founded in 2024 by a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, AI researchers, and healthcare innovators, we’re tackling one of medicine’s most pressing challenges: the growing demand for accurate, timely cancer diagnostics in the face of rising scan volumes and limited radiologist capacity.
We sit at the intersection of diagnostics and treatment planning—building AI-powered tools at the convergence of medical imaging, radioligand therapy, and artificial intelligence. Starting with prostate cancer and expanding across oncology, we partner with world-leading medical institutions and pharmaceutical companies across the US, Europe, and Australia to bring precision oncology into everyday clinical practice.
Our mission is to enhance diagnostic precision and expand access to expert-level cancer care, improving patient outcomes worldwide. We’re venture-backed, early-stage, and building a team that blends deep clinical expertise with engineering intensity—moving with the rigor the medical field demands and the speed the problem deserves.
The Opportunity
Nucs AI is entering a pivotal phase—our products are being validated in clinical settings, partnerships are accelerating, and we’re preparing for commercial launch. This role is for someone who can build our go-to-market engine from the ground up, leveraging deep existing relationships across medical imaging, nuclear medicine, radioligand therapy, and AI-driven healthcare.
This is a foundational commercial hire. You’ll own the full sales cycle across a wide range of deal sizes and customer types—from closing focused product deployments with independent imaging centers to securing large-scale enterprise agreements with pharmaceutical companies and hospital networks. You bring a multilayered sales approach and understand that the motion for a $100K imaging center deal is fundamentally different from a multi-year pharma collaboration, and you’re equally effective at both.
You’re a builder who thrives in early-stage environments and brings a strong existing network to activate from day one. You’re open to new tools and innovative sales approaches—including AI-augmented prospecting and outreach—but you ground everything in proven fundamentals. You carry yourself with the same polish, credibility, and authentic conviction as the best in healthcare commercial leadership, and you’re motivated by the mission as much as the market opportunity.
What You’ll Do
Commercial Strategy & Pipeline Development
Define and execute Nucs AI’s go-to-market strategy across pharmaceutical, clinical, and health system channels
Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline targeting pharma partners, imaging networks, academic medical centers, and independent imaging facilities
Develop and refine positioning, messaging, and value propositions tailored to each customer segment and deal size
Map market channels and develop segment-specific sales motions—understanding the distinct dynamics of pharma enterprise sales, hospital system procurement, and SMB clinical sales
Leverage AI tools, modern sales platforms, and innovative prospecting methods alongside traditional relationship-driven selling
Multilayered Sales Execution
Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles with pharmaceutical companies and large health systems from initial engagement through contract execution
Execute efficient, high-velocity sales processes for smaller clinical customers and imaging centers
Adapt deal structures, pricing models, and engagement approaches to match the scale and sophistication of each customer
Cultivate and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders at pharma companies, hospital systems, and key opinion leaders in nuclear medicine and oncology
Network Activation & Market Presence
Bring and activate an existing network of relationships across healthcare—doctors, hospital administrators, pharma executives, imaging center operators, and key opinion leaders
Represent Nucs AI at industry conferences, advisory boards, and partner meetings with executive presence and clinical credibility
Build Nucs AI’s commercial reputation through authentic, trust-based engagement—selling the big vision without making noise
Provide market intelligence on competitive landscape, customer needs, reimbursement trends, and emerging opportunities in theranostics and imaging AI
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with the medical and product teams to ensure customer insights feed directly into roadmap decisions
Collaborate with the Partnership Director on account strategy where sales and partnership relationships intersect
Work with leadership on pricing, partnership structures, and reimbursement strategy
Collaborate with the CEO to shape and evolve the commercial strategy as the company scales
Job requirements
What You Bring
8+ years of commercial experience in medical imaging, theranostics, medical AI, nuclear medicine, or oncology sales, with a strong track record of closing deals ranging from SMB product sales to large enterprise partnerships
An established, activatable network across medical imaging, nuclear medicine, radioligand therapy, oncology, or adjacent healthcare markets—you know the people and they know you
Demonstrated ability to sell across multiple layers of the market: pharma enterprise, hospital systems, and smaller clinical facilities
Strong understanding of healthcare market channels, procurement dynamics, and the distinct sales motions required at different customer scales
Experience building a commercial function at an early-stage or growth-stage company—not just executing an existing playbook, but creating one
Open-minded and forward-thinking about sales process innovation; comfortable leveraging AI tools, modern platforms, and creative outreach alongside traditional relationship selling
Elite communication and executive presence; authentic, credible, and compelling in any room from an imaging center conference room to a pharma boardroom
Builder’s mentality with high tenacity and zero ego—motivated by what the company achieves, not personal credit
Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or related field
Bonus Points
Direct experience in PSMA, PET/CT, or radioligand therapy markets
Familiarity with SaMD, FDA/CE regulatory pathways, and reimbursement dynamics
Experience at a Series A–B stage healthcare or AI company that scaled through early commercial traction
A portfolio of relationships you can speak to concretely—who you know, how you’ll engage them, and what you’ll do in the first 90 days
MBA or advanced degree in a relevant discipline
